Space Healing: Tools of the Trade

There are a few healing plants typically used in performing space healings, to rid homes/offices of negative energy. Sage and Palo Santo sticks are the most in demand. Unfortunately, with the increased interest in ceremonies and house clearing, the demand and supply of Palo Santo sticks have created a crises for the trees.

For those of us who use sage and Palo Santo sticks, the Apaza family has urged us to start using our own locally grown plants. The Palo Santo trees are near extinction. Although the local government has taken measures to protect the trees, illegal operations and sales still occur. If you're unfamiliar with alternative plants, consider: Juniper, Rosemary, Cedar (mmmmm....so good!), Bay Leaves and Eucalyptus.

Q'ero Shamans have come forward to share their wisdom teachings to the West so their work will continue. They believe everything is energy and that a new world can be co-created if we listen for the blessings and pay attention to the cries of Pachamama, Mother Earth.

Our best hope is to be more respectful to the earth and to each other. The more luminous light we share with others, the greater possibility a new world will be created. We can begin by listening to the words of the Q'ero and respect those areas of their world that are being decimated. Right now, we can share that luminous light by simply growing our own healing plants or purchasing from local farms.
